A £125 deposit secures your wedding date and covers your trial. It’s non-refundable and comes off your final balance. For special occasions, parties, proms and lessons, full payment is required in advance.
Summer wedding dates get booked 12–18 months out, so it’s worth enquiring early — for any occasion, though, the sooner you get in touch, the better. Bookings are first-come, first-served, and your date is only secured once your deposit or payment is received.
For weddings, around 6 months before the big day is ideal, especially in Spring when weekend slots are easier to find. Trials aren’t required for other occasions, but bringing inspiration photos along always helps get the look right.
Bank transfer, with the remaining wedding balance due after the trial (special occasions and lessons are paid in full upfront). Travel outside Birmingham is charged at 60p/mile, with a full quote — including mileage — given at enquiry.
Rachael’s done parties as big as 15, often bringing a second artist to keep timings relaxed. A minimum of 3 in the bridal party applies during peak wedding season.
Around 45 minutes per person, plus an hour to get dressed — handy for weddings if you’d like time for getting-ready photos too.
